Since opening, we have grown substantially over the years, and have gone from setting up at our local flea market to a beautiful, 4500 ft location!
We still have the same, non-commercial, mom and pop store mentality and feel, which focuses on customer service and ensuring the family will be the right match for the new companion, no matter what the species.
Many of the species we work with we personally raise ourselves, and others come from other licensed breeders and zoos. Did you know that without people like us, many species would go extinct? A great example is New Guinea Singing Dogs, which are essentially extinct in the wild and less than 200 in the world, including ours! Private breeding programs such as ours help ensure these amazing animals get to carry on for future generations to enjoy!
Although exotics are not a good fit for everyone, when matched with the right family, they can form a strong bond and make a wonderful addition to the family! We take pride in doing our best to ensure the animals we home are a good match with the new family to ensure a lifetime of happiness for both the animal and the person.
